Market Collection
A History of Farming
Like all Pillitteri wines, the Market Collection is grown in the heart of Canada’s fruitland and the home to our family’s farm market. On December 15, 1965 Gary and Lena Pillitteri settled in Niagara-on-the-Lake to raise their family. They purchased a fruit farm on Niagara Stone Road. In 1973 they opened Gary’s Fruit Market. Soon after the first Niagara wineries opened, Gary took the initiative and began planting wine grapes, starting the first of the family’s Niagara vineyards.

Estate Wine Selections
Our Estate Carretto series of wines use grapes from our home estate vineyards. Each vineyard and wine is treated individually since each has its own ‘personality’ that must be expressed. Our goal is to produce consistent, quality wine for our consumers: rich, full-bodied reds; fragrant and lively whites, all in a variety of styles to suit every palate.
Racina Series
An Expression of Art and Science
The Racina series of wines are unique blends and rare styles that will vary from year to year. This wine series permits the winemaker and his team to freely express themselves, giving them artistic freedom to craft rare blends that may never be available again. The wines may include Appassimento or partial Appassimento blends, small batch winemaking trials with the latest technology, unique, rare and never before blended wines. These wines will be an expression of the art and science of winemaking.

Exclamation wines come only from grapes grown in the best vintage years. These wines are exemplary of the commitment that Pillitteri has made to producing world-class wine. These wines are hand-selected by our Winemaker, Aleksandar Kolundzic as his personal favourites.
Riserva Famiglia
Family Reserve Classified
The ‘Riserva Famiglia’ title is only given to wines produced in the best vintage years which have passed through a rigorous tasting panel. In the winery’s 20 year history we have only deemed 6 vintages suitable to produce Family Reserve wines. The Family Reserve Series showcases the wines of a family’s labour of love.
Icewine
Canada's Gift to the World
Icewine is a Pillitteri flagship product. Half of the wine produced at Pillitteri is Icewine. Typical aromas of Icewine include apricot, honey and citrus for whites and cherry, strawberry, and chocolate for reds. Icewine makes an excellent dessert wine and pairs with many savory foods. Pillitteri Estates Winery is the world’s largest estate Icewine producer.
ONLINE WINE SALES
​​You must be 19 years old to purchase on this website. The legal age to purchase alcohol in the province of Ontario is 19 years of age. Our shipping policy has changed. We are now charging $20 per case to ship in Ontario. Shipping is free for wine club members in Ontario and those who purchase a wine subscription. For out of province orders there is a shipping fee that will be applied to wine orders at checkout to accommodate increased shipping costs. We are not currently shipping to Quebec.
Wines are being shipped by a variety of shippers and selected at the winery's discretion. PLEASE NOTE: We are now limited to processing a maximum of 60 bottles per order for orders outside of Ontario due to provincial liquor board importation restrictions. If your desired order exceeds this volume we will contact you.
SHIPPING NOTICE
Due to a significant increase in demand, order processing and shipping may be delayed. Our staff is working hard to complete your order as quickly as possible and shippers are working diligently to get your order to you. We appreciate your understanding during this time. Shipping Times are typically 7 to 10 business days however we cannot guarantee a delivery within this time due to heavy order volume, and shipping company backlogs. Please contact us only if you have not received your shipping notice or tracking information within 3 business days of placing your order. We cannot guarantee an exact delivery date and time.
To get your wine same day or next day we suggest placing an order by phone for curbside pick up at our winery retail store. Please call 905-468-3147 to place a curbside pick up order.
Return Policy
The winery must be notified of any issues with deliveries within 72 hours of the scheduled delivery date. Online Returns Policy: Bottles need to be returned to the winery in person for a refund or exchange. Due to high order volumes we are not arranging return shipping for exchanges or refunds at this time for non-defective products. Please contact the winery at: winery@pillitteri.com
